The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ("CFPB") is seeking comments and information on "whether it should amend any rules it has issued since its creation or issue rules under new rulemaking authority provided for by the Dodd-Frank Act." The Request for Information ("RFI") was published in the Federal Register. As previously covered, the RFI applies only to rules that have been issued by the CFPB, not to rules that were transferred by Congress from other agencies to the CFPB.

Comments on the RFI will be accepted until June 19, 2018.
