A documentary featuring singer Aretha Franklin and her 1972 performance at the New Missionary Baptist Church titled, "Amazing Grace," has been challenged in the form of an emergency injection by the pop icon to prevent producer Alan Elliot from releasing the film.

Fox Rothschild's Lincoln Bandlow, who is representing Elliot in the case, says this absolutely does not mean the film won't be released.

"This is in furtherance of the parties' efforts over the last few months to get a deal done so the world can see this great film," Bandlow said.
