Walkers' senior associate Ellen Jarvis has been admitted as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey.
Ellen, who was already admitted in the Isle of Man, was sworn in on Friday 28 March.
She has been working in our growing Investment Funds & Corporate Practice Group since 2019 and acts on a variety of corporate real estate transactions, company reorganisation and restructurings, company migrations and private equity M&A deals. She also has experience with advising Jersey property unit trusts with regards to property acquisitions and disposals.
Jersey managing partner Jonathan Heaney, who also leads the Jersey Investment Funds & Corporate practice group, said: "Admission to the Jersey Bar is a remarkable milestone that requires commitment, dedication, effort, and expertise. We are all thrilled to celebrate Ellen's outstanding achievement."
Ellen said: "I am extremely proud to have been sworn in as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey, meaning I am now admitted in two of three Crown Dependencies. I would like to thank Jonathan Heaney, Tatiana Collins, Dilmun Leach, Kevin McQuillan and the wider Walkers team for their support and encouragement."
Walkers is now one of the largest financial services law firms in the Channel Islands, with 26 partners and 90 lawyers practising across all major areas of financial services law in Jersey and Guernsey.
