The proposals in the Budget indicate India's continued intention to implement the BEPS actions/recommendations over time. The latest proposals demonstrate, for example, India's intention to develop a feasible structure for bringing digital entities within the country's tax bracket. This will apply to entities that sell to Indian consumers but don't necessarily have a significant physical presence within India's territory.
