The Minister of Finance has issued a decree relating to the submission of the Personal Income Tax Form (TD1) for employees, pensioners or self-employed without audited accounts, for the tax year 2019.  The decree extends the deadline for the submission of Personal Income Tax Form (TD1) until 30 November 2020. The new deadline also applies to any tax due according to the TD1.

The full detail of the decree has been published in the Official Gazette. Taxpayers should note that the Cyprus Tax Department will only accept TD1 forms which have been submitted via TAXISnet. Therefore, individuals who have not yet registered for the TAXISnet system should ensure that they do so as a priority ahead of the new TD1 submission deadline.
