2020-03-04 – Canada immigration authorities have conducted a new Express Entry draw, issuing 3,900 Invitations to Apply for permanent residence.

The March 4 draw saw the minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score increase by one point to 471 when compared to the previous draw.

It was the first draw since Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada smashed the record for ITAs in a single draw, inviting 4,500 candidates on February 19.

Canada has now issued 18,700 ITAs so far in 2020, after issuing a total of 85,300 in 2019. IRCC broke the record for annual Express Entry ITAs in 2018 with 89,800.
