2020-02-19 – Saskatchewan immigration is to abandon the use of application intake thresholds through the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program.

The move comes following the transition to an Expression of Interest system for the province's major skilled worker streams – Saskatchewan Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand.

Previously, the province would publish the maximum number of applications it was accepted in a calendar year, and the number of spaces it had remaining under that limit.
