September 24, 2018 – Canada immigration authorities have targeted Federal Skilled Trades Program candidates in a rare Monday Express Entry draw, the 100th since the system began in 2015.

The September 24 draw saw 400 Invitations to Apply issued with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score of 284.

It was the second program-specific draw of 2018 and the first to target just one program. Previous program-specific draws have targeted both Skilled Trades and Provincial Nominee Program candidates.

By targeting a specific program, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada gives the opportunity of receiving an ITA to candidates with lower CRS scores.

This was the 20th round of invitations under  Express Entry in 2018 and  100th overall.
