United States Citizenship and Immigration Services announced on March 20, 2018, that they are suspending premium processing for all  H-1B cap petitions until September 10, 2018. This means that all H-1B cap petitions must be filed under regular processing.

USCIS will continue accepting premium processing requests for non-cap H-1B petitions, including H-1B extension petitions, H-1B Change of Employer petitions and all H-1B cap exempt petitions.

April 2 is the first day that USCIS will accept H-1B cap petitions.
