Fox Rothschild LLP was featured in the Vista Today article, "Decade's Biggest Deal Bolsters Exton's Fox Rothschild Law Firm." Full text can be found in the December 31, 2015, issue, but a synopsis is below.

Fox Rothschild has announced that it will be acquiring a top 10 law firm in the Minneapolis area on January 4, 2016. Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly will now operate under Fox Rothschild which raises the number of attorneys practicing with the firm to over 700.

"Establishing a strong presence in the Upper Midwest is an important component in Fox's overall strategic growth plan," said Fox Rothschild Managing Partner Mark Silow. "The Oppenheimer firm offers us a chance to enter this important market in a robust way, adding an established group of attorneys with strong client relationships and deep roots in the community."

"This is one of those mergers that is driven by all of the good reasons," Silow said. "Their practice is growing and needed more depth. Our practice is growing, and we have clients that need more geography and national scope."

The acquisition will give Fox's business clients the benefit of shared connections in Minnesota and will increase the firm's overall footprint across the country.

"We have an enormous client base, and we have just proven that when we are in vibrant metro areas, our existing clients just seem to generate work in those markets," Silow said.
