Outdoor Retailer + Snow Show, the largest trade show in the outdoor industry, is set to kick off in Denver this week. The move of Outdoor Retailer to Denver underscores the importance of the outdoor industry to Colorado. The industry annually generates $28 billion in consumer spending in the state, contributes $9.7 billion in wages and salaries and $2 billion in state and local tax revenue, and supports 229,000 jobs across the state.
