The Massachusetts Department of Revenue originally indicated it would follow the federal deferral guidelines for individual and corporate taxpayers (deferral of tax return filings and payments until July 2020).

As of March 24, however, it is advising taxpayers that it is aware the IRS has issued guidance with respect to tax returns and payments due April 15th. The Department of Revenue notes it is working on a plan to provide relief with respect to Massachusetts returns and payments.
