In a published opinion, a United States district court dismissed a class action lawsuit against Cadence Bank's ATM operations. The suit had alleged that the bank's ATM operations—spanning the Southeast from Tennessee to Florida and Mississippi to Georgia—failed to adhere to accessibility regulations issued under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The Waller team won dismissal of the suit against Cadence in an important precedent for the ATM and financial services industries. The court found that the bank's compliance with applicable law rendered moot any alleged violation and denied class certification and further court supervision.
