Hall & Wilcox invites you to our Incorporated Association Reforms Seminar.
The imminent implementation of the Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012 will mean a number of significant changes to Victorian incorporated associations, including:
- new duties on office holders;
- the introduction of civil penalties; and
- the removal of the prohibition on trading.
This seminar will provide an overview of the key changes and how they are likely to affect your association. It will further consider some of the practical steps that should be taken to ensure compliance with the new laws.
The seminar will also provide an opportunity to raise any particular concerns your organisation may have in relation to the changes.
