On January 16th, 2018, Partner of Kosta Legal Mr. Nail Hassanov attended the meeting of the Commission for Development of Public-Private Partnership in Uzbekistan.

Having joined the expert panel, including top Uzbek lawyers and auditors, representatives of the State Committee for Investments and academics working in the area, Nail shared his opinion on the draft Law on Public-Private Partnership and practical impact of related legal developments.

Nail has vast experience in project finance and implementation of private-public projects in Uzbekistan. He and his associates have been engaged in majority of projects, involving business cooperation between major multinational players within the Uzbek market and the Uzbek state and state-owned enterprises.

Adoption of the new Law on Public-Private Partnership along with the forthcoming Investment Code will significantly change the regulatory regime within the country and it is Kosta Legal's aim to remain on the cutting edge of changes that are happening in the field.
