Joshua Cohen, shareholder in the firm's Intellectual Property Section and Mechanical Practice Group Co-Leader, again offers his innovative course—IP Law for Strategists, Innovators, and Owners of IP Assets—in the Master in Law (ML) Program of University of Pennsylvania's Penn Carey Law School.
In his course, Joshua uses interactive case studies of iconic products—from Apple's iPhone to Zippo lighters—to illustrate key principles of IP law and reveal strategies for protecting and promoting technology and design innovations. He prepares students to enable their enterprises—whether global corporations, entrepreneurial ventures, academic institutions, or government offices—to protect IP assets, respect others' IP rights, promote new innovations, and integrate IP and innovation strategies.
Penn's ML Program is designed for accomplished and aspiring professionals across fields including healthcare, finance, compliance, technology, human resources and government, offering non-lawyers the unique opportunity to gain a deep understanding of the law and its impact on their work.
