CSB Group was honoured to be invited and to contribute to a parent-panel discussion hosted by San Anton School for Grade 10 Business Studies students, focused on the theme of Financial Literacy and Investing.
Representing CSB Group, Michael J. Zammit - Group CEO, joined fellow industry professionals Mr Mirko Rapa, Partner at PwC, and Mr Matthew Caruana, CEO of JA Malta Foundation and San Anton Board Member, in a discussion aimed at bridging classroom learning with practical industry experience.
Organised by the Department of Computing and Business and led by Business Studies educator Mr Mark Grech, the session provided students with valuable insights into financial literacy, investing, responsible money management, and the realities of the corporate world. Through open discussion and real-life examples, students were encouraged to think critically about their future careers, financial decision-making, and the importance of developing practical skills from an early age.
During the panel discussion, Mr Zammit shared the importance of developing an entrepreneurial mindset, embracing innovation, and building strong foundations based on trust, professionalism, and perseverance. Drawing from his own experience leading CSB Group, he encouraged students to remain curious and continuously develop practical and essential life skills that support both personal and professional growth.
CSB Group would like to thank San Anton School, JA Malta Foundation, the organisers, and fellow panelists for hosting such an engaging and meaningful session. Initiatives such as these play an important role in preparing and empowering the next generation of responsible, financially literate leaders.
Students attending the session were also presented with curated CSB Group gift bags containing a selection of branded materials and resources as a token of appreciation.
