Shareholders Rob Driscoll and Michael Gentry presented during the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Wisconsin Annual Chapter Conference and Meeting of Members, held May 14 and May 15 at the Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.
Kate O’Malley, Senior Compliance Counsel, Accruent, and former Reinhart attorney, led the opening presentation on the key changes at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) during the Biden and Trump Administrations and their impacts on the EEOC’s litigation posture.
Gentry followed with a presentation that covered EEOC’s position on artificial intelligence (AI), its authority on seeking documentation during investigations, EEOC charge expansion, and discovery of the EEOC.
Driscoll’s presentation provided an overview of litigating “pattern or practice” discrimination claims, including discovery and mediation.
