Taft Chicago partner Liz Butler presents at the Spring Conference of the Graaskamp Center for Real Estate at the Wisconsin School of Business. The title of the conference was Transforming Real Estate: Adapting to Change, Embracing Innovation. Liz was part of a panel that spoke on “Headwinds and Current Trends in Urban Markets.” The panel brought together industry leaders and experts to dissect the headwinds impacting commercial real estate, from capital market constraints to policy shifts affecting development and investment.
Butler focuses her practice in the areas of land use, zoning, entitlements, urban planning, public incentives, historic preservation, and economic development, as well as general real estate transactions. She works closely with developers, city officials, and community groups to navigate the complex web of regulations and approvals required for large-scale development projects.
