Taft partner Jayna Cacioppo was elected as Chair-Elect of the Executive Committee for Cancer Support Community (CSC) of Indiana. The CSC of Indiana’s goal is to lead the charge in Indiana to build a vibrant community of cancer survivors and their loved ones. A main focus of CSC is providing psychosocial support to complement medical treatments in order to nurture every part of a patient as they grow and recover. It’s CSC’s goal to make sure cancer patients don’t have to endure feelings of hopelessness and isolation alone. Cacioppo has been active raising funds for the fight against cancer through her work with CSC since 2020.
Cacioppo is a partner in the Indianapolis office of Taft, and the past Chair of the Indianapolis Litigation practice group. She is a trial lawyer with significant courtroom experience in both civil and criminal matters. Cacioppo’s practice concentrates on complex disputes, with an emphasis on complex commercial litigation. Her practice includes contract disputes, M&A claims, trade secret misappropriation, as well as regulatory investigations by state and federal agencies.
