Our Intellectual Property team and its members have been recognised in the latest Managing IP (MIP) EMEA Awards and the 2025 Legal 500 rankings, with acknowledgements for both individual excellence and overall team performance. Several of our lawyers were recognised in 2024, and have retained their accolades in 2025, a testament to the consistency, depth and quality of our IP expertise across Africa.

ENS’ IP Team has proven its industry leadership by being named South African Copyright and Design Firm of the Year at the 2025 MIP EMEA Awards. This achievement underscores the firm’s ongoing commitment to excellence in providing innovative and top-tier IP legal services.

The prestigious MIP EMEA Awards, renowned for their recognition of excellence in IP law, are highly esteemed across the world and serve as a benchmark for innovation, leadership and client-focused service in the IP sector.

In addition, our IP team was ranked in the recent Legal 500 rankings, which described us as “… combination of professionalism, innovative practices, and a genuine commitment to client satisfaction makes them a leader in the legal field.”

Another comment in the guide stated that “The individuals at ENS stand out due to their exceptional expertise and dedication to client service. Each team member brings a unique perspective that enhances the effectiveness of their legal solutions.”
