Highly Commended: Innovative Lawyers in Deals and Financing: for advising UK green jet-fuel developer Velocys on its takeover by a consortium of private investors despite one of its Russian shareholders being sanctioned by a UK asset freeze.

Highly Commended: Innovative Lawyers in Unlocking Financing: for advising mining company Cornish Lithium on securing $67 million of financing last year, including $24 million from the state-backed UK Infrastructure Bank, which was its first direct equity investment.
