Further to our earlier advisory, the new Cayman DITC Portal is now open for FATCA/CRS notification, reporting and filing purposes. The Cayman Islands Department for International Tax Cooperation (DITC) has issued a new DITC Portal User Guide and the DITC Portal itself may be accessed here. Entities which have previously registered with the DITC should receive an account activation email with instructions regarding accessing the DITC Portal in order to comply with their FATCA/CRS reporting obligations. As mentioned in our earlier advisory, please ensure that the email address donotreply@ditc.ky is not blocked by any email spam filters to facilitate receipt of communications from the DITC.

As a reminder, 16 December 2020 is both the FATCA/CRS reporting deadline and the CRS filing declaration deadline.
