September 17, 2019 - Manitoba immigration authorities have conducted a new provincial draw, issuing 347 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) through three provincial streams.

2019-09-13 – Manitoba immigration authorities have conducted a new provincial draw, issuing 347 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) through three provincial streams.

The September 12 Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program draw again focused on the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, with 254 LAAs issued and the lowest-ranked candidate scoring 545 points.

There were also 53 LAAs issued as part of a Strategic Recruitment Initiative (SRI), falling under the Skilled Workers Overseas stream. The lowest-ranked SRI candidate scored 706 points.

An SRI is when candidates are invited to fulfill a specific labour market need.

International Education Stream candidates received the final 40 LAAs
