January 16, 2019 -The Quebec government has extended the deadline to submit 1900 new applications under its new Immigrant Investor Program through August 31, 2019, the Quebec immigration ministry (MIDI) has announced.

January 16, 2019 – The Quebec government has extended the deadline to submit 1900 new applications under its new Immigrant Investor Program through August 31, 2019, the Quebec immigration ministry (MIDI) has announced.

Quebec formally unveiled its new immigrant investor immigration program on July 18, 2018.

The new immigrant investor program QIIP features increased investment and net worth requirements for the first time in nearly 9 years.

The new program requires an investment requirement of $1.2 million, up from $800,000. The qualifying net worth amount increases to $2 million, up from $1.6 million.
