AiVi Nguyen, a partner in Bowditch's litigation practice, and Mike Angelini, Bowditch chairman, have been selected for the Worcester Business Journal's (WBJ) Power 50 2020.

The Power 50 is compiled by the WBJ and is comprised of the 50 most influential people in the Central Massachusetts economy, defined as "anyone who can use their influence to make change in Central Massachusetts." The list includes people from all walks of life and professions.

AiVi Nguyen was included in the Nonprofits category. Her accomplishments and involvement in the community was spoken of with high praise.

Nguyen's resume ought to lead with the fact she became the youngest partner at Bowditch & Dewey's century-plus history, at age 31. It led her Power 50 profile last year, after all. But that's not exactly what makes Nguyen among the region's most influential people, as she is constantly using her skills and intellect to push for change and advocate for those most in need.

Mike Angelini was included in the Connectors & Influencers category. The WBJ spoke highly of him and his involvement in the community:

When Angelini speaks, everyone listens. Over the course of a 50-year career at one of Worcester's largest law firms and serving on a variety of advisory boards, he's built an elaborate network of connections and a reputation for poignant leadership, providing direct and clear insight on a variety of challenges…He still advises younger lawyers, demonstrating the importance of engagement in the community.
