The latest "Judicial Hellholes" report from the American Tort Reform Foundation is out, listing the 10 jurisdictions, courts, and legislatures known for expansive civil liability and frivolous suits.

Fortunately for our clients in these "judicial hellholes," Lewis Brisbois has experienced trial attorneys in each one, having recently opened offices in some of the jurisdictions mentioned in the report (for example, St. Louis and Minnesota, where Lewis Brisbois opened offices in January and September of this year, respectively) and added additional capacity in others. We are also very pleased to report that the firm now has 48 attorneys who have been inducted into the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), with many ABOTA attorneys located in these "judicial hellholes." Learn more about Lewis Brisbois' involvement with ABOTA below.

Our Trial & Appellate Teams across the country continue to secure favorable verdicts in a multitude of cases and venues by selecting the very best and most qualified experts, pursuing an aggressive motion practice strategy, performing diligent investigations, and preserving the record for appeal. Below is a sampling of some of our recent trial and appellate wins, plus a spotlight on two of our trial partners and other news from our nationwide team, including new trial partner hires in Newark, Atlanta, and New York City.
