After the tragic suicide of cyber bullied Alamo Heights teenager David Molak, a lot of politicians have jumped in and promised to introduce 'David's Laws' in the coming Legislature to combat the growing problem of on line bullying.  But the experts tell News Radio 1200 WOAI those bills will face numerous challenges, and may not pass muster Constitutionally.

Debra Innocenti with the local firm of Strasburger & Price is one of the country's leading experts on the growing and evolving field of Internet law, and she advises several local high tech companies and works with high tech consortia like Geekdom.  She says, unlike traditional schoolyard bullying, cyber bullying involves speech, which is notoriously difficult to regulate under the First Amendment.
