Brattle Principal Pallavi Seth has been appointed as Chair of the International Trade Commission (ITC) Committee, part of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Section of Intellectual Property Law (ABA-IPL), for the upcoming 2017-2018 membership year.

As the largest organization of intellectual property lawyers in the world, the ABA-IPL Section is a highly respected voice of the intellectual property bar. As Chair, Dr. Seth will lead the Committee members in providing thoughtful consideration of emerging issues that shape and influence the views and policies advocated by the Section, and encourage the development of relevant and timely programming and publications dedicated to those issues.

Dr. Seth is an expert in intellectual property and economic policy, including Section 337 investigations at the ITC. She has testified on a range of economic issues in such investigations and has assisted leading technology companies, including Broadcom, Samsung, HP, Intel, Macronix, LG, Garmin, and Nokia, as well as trade associations and government agencies.

Dr. Seth previously served as Chair of Programs of the ABA-ITC Committee and as Vice-Chair of the ITC Committee.
