ATLANTA (August 9, 2019) – Fisher Phillips, a national labor and employment law firm representing employers, announces the addition of Micah Dickie as an associate in its Atlanta office.
Micah joins from Buckley Beal where he represented plaintiffs in employment law matters. At Fisher Phillips, he will work with the firm's Workplace Safety and Catastrophe Management Practice Group counseling clients on best practices for mitigating the risk of workplace incidents and defending against OSHA inspections and investigations. Prior to entering private practice, Micah served as a law clerk for the Honorable Leslie J. Abrams Gardner in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia.
Micah earned his Juris Doctor degree from Mercer University School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude and in the top 5% of his class. During law school, Micah served as a judicial extern for the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board and as an extern for the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of the Solicitor.
Fisher Phillips' Workplace Safety and Catastrophe Management Practice Group works with employers across the country to implement workplace safety procedures and compliance programs to mitigate the risk of workplace accidents, injuries and regulatory liability. National in scope, the group's attorneys represent employers in various industries, including chemical, utilities, mining, manufacturing, construction, and hospitality to provide a broad range of workplace safety services, including workplace fatality and catastrophe responses, safety compliance, and representation during MSHA and OSHA inspections, and litigation with the agencies. The team handles litigation in both federal and state courts as well as claims pending with state and federal agencies including the EEOC, MSHA, OSHA, and the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL).
Micah is the seventh attorney to join the firm's rapidly growing Workplace Safety and Catastrophe Management practice this year.
