We stand together with our colleagues, clients, and partners globally in condemning the racial injustice that has been highlighted by the killing of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor and others before them.

There is no place for racism and discrimination anywhere in society. Clyde & Co wants to help lead by example, because at our firm the diversity of our people, as well as everyone's inclusion is critical to the global business we operate, the clients we serve and the communities where we live.

The recent events and responses have made it clear that we need to do more. We recognise that we need to redouble our efforts to create tangible change in our own business and in the legal sector as a whole. As a result and as a first step we are making donations in the UK to the Access to Justice Foundation and to the NAACP Legal Defence fund in the United States.

While we assess the best steps forward for our organisation, our thoughts are with our black colleagues and the black community. We see you, we hear you and we stand with you.
