The Ministry of Trade announced today that deadlines for service providers to register with the IYS and upload their approvals to the system has been postponed once again, considering the negative effects of the new type of Coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic on business life. Please refer to the Turkish version of the announcement here.

According to the new announcement;

  • The new deadline to upload the consents for service providers having more than 150,000 commercial electronic message consents is 31 December 2020. The new deadline for these approvals to be checked by the consent giving individuals is 15 February 2021,
  • The new deadline to upload the consents for service providers having commercial electronic message consents up to an amount of 150,000 is 31 May 2021. The new deadline for these approvals to be checked by the consent giving individuals has been postponed to 15 July 2021.

There has been no announcement regarding the postponement of uploading the merchant's information to the system. We are following closely and we will inform you as soon as there is a further announcement.
