Paragraph 6 of the article regarding the preparation procedures of the Communiqué ("Communiqué") of the Communiqué on the Signing of the Company Establishment Agreement at the Commercial Registry Directorates was amended through the Communiqué Amending the Communiqué on the Signing of the Company Establishment Agreement at the Commercial Registry Directorates, which entered into force on 22 July 2020.

As per this amendment;

  • The signature declaration of the persons authorized to sign in the foreign country can be issued by certifying their signatures by the Turkish consulate in that country or the competent authorities in accordance with the legislation of that country.
  • Now it is obligatory that the signature declarations issued by the foreign authorities are certified by the Turkish consulate or pursuant to Agreement on Abolition of the Certification Obligation of Foreign Official Documents along with a notarized Turkish translation.
