On September 8, 2010, Azerbaijan deposited its instrument of accession to the Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Industrial Designs, adopted in Geneva on July 2, 1999 (the Geneva Act).

On September 8, 2010, Azerbaijan deposited its instrument of accession to the Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Industrial Designs, adopted in Geneva on July 2, 1999 (the Geneva Act).

The Geneva Act will enter into force in Azerbaijan on December 8, 2010. It allows users to apply for protection of industrial designs in the EU and other member states by filing one single application for registration.
