Carrie H. Cohen, a former state and federal prosecutor, is participating in the first session of a five-part series being cosponsored by the National Association of Attorneys General and the D.C. Bar to provide insights on various aspects of corruption investigations and prosecutions by state and local authorities. More specifically, she will discuss her experiences prosecuting local corruption cases and the important role non-criminal ethics enforcement plays in the fight against corruption to a group of state and local corruption prosecutors, federal prosecutors, and criminal defense attorneys.

Carrie is co-lead of Morrison & Foerster's State + Local Government Enforcement group and recently authored guidance on the mechanics of a complex public corruption investigation for the National Association of Attorneys General's Anticorruption Manual, which is the first-ever manual dedicated to guiding state and local public corruption prosecutors initiating or managing a corruption investigation.
