In the context of this evolving area of law, Michael Rozdal will examine the implications for financiers of the recent NSW Court of Appeal decisions in First Mortgage Managed Investments Pty Limited v Pittman [2014] NSWCA 110 and Razdan v Westpac Banking Corporation [2014] NSWCA 126.
  • The declaration of independence? ASIC v Frankin & Ors [2014] FCA 68. With a focus on the recent Federal Court of Australia decision of ASIC v Frankin & Ors [2014] FCA 68, Mark Faraday will discuss independence and disclosure requirements for insolvency practitioners.
