Johnson Stokes & Master is pleased to announce the appointment of four new partners in Hong Kong, one in Thailand and one in Vietnam, marking a further step to expand its business across Asia.
In Hong Kong, Thomas Vaizey, Mark Stevens and Tammie Tam became partners in JSM’s commercial department, and Kelvin Chan in litigation. In Thailand, Araya Akomsoonthorn became a partner in JSM’s property department and in Vietnam, Dao Nguyen was appointed a partner based in the Ho Chi Minh City office.

Thomas Vaizey’s practice involves corporate restructuring, and all aspects of contentious and non-contentious insolvency. He has broad experience of finance and insolvency work across Asia.
Mark Stevens specialises in commercial law with a special focus on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, share subscription and fund raising.
Tammie Tam’s specialist expertise lies in the corporate finance area. She is experienced in corporate listings particularly of PRC enterprises in Hong Kong and has worked extensively on the mainland.
Kelvin Chan specialises in litigation and his practice focuses on banking, commercial and property-related litigation.
Araya Akomsoonthorn is based in JSM’s Bangkok office. Araya’s practice focuses on property and environmental law. She assists clients with property acquisitions, mergers and acquisitions, investment transactions through mutual funds or other securities and project finance.
Dao Nguyen, based in Ho Chi Minh City, has extensive experience in general commercial, banking and financial matters and all aspects of investments in Vietnam.
