We asked Phil: What is the most rewarding thing about your legal practice?
"One of the most rewarding aspects of being a real estate lawyer is that the results you achieve are very tangible. You can work with a client to realize a vision going from a vacant piece of ground or an under-utilized building to a new hotel, arena, shopping complex or residential community. A successful project means good jobs for many people from construction to operation. A completed project provides new opportunities for many people to live, work and play in a positive space that hopefully reflects the character of a city and its residents."
