On May 21, 2026, Inventa Mozambique received an official visit from the African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO), within the framework of ARIPO's Online Services Awareness Mission, held in Maputo from May 19 to 21.
The ARIPO delegation was welcomed by Regional Director,Amina Matineat our offices for a visit that also included representatives from the Industrial Property Institute (IPI). The main objective of the visit was to strengthen interaction between ARIPO technical staff, industrial property agents, and system users, promoting the exchange of experiences, best practices, and challenges related to intellectual property services across the region.
The meeting also included the participation, via videoconference, ofInês Monteiro Alves, Partner and Attorney at Law at Inventa, during which several technical challenges were discussed and the online system was analyzed.
For Inventa, this visit represented an important opportunity for institutional cooperation and for reinforcing its commitment to innovation, the protection of intellectual property, and the modernization of services across the African region.
