Kelley Drye's recent webinar, "Minnesota Attorney General's Office: Consumer Protection and Data Privacy in Minnesota," was featured in Privacy Daily's article, "Minnesota AG Ramps Up Privacy Enforcement After 200 Consumer Complaints." On April 20, 2026, Kelley Drye's State Attorneys General practice group hosted a webinar featuring four guests from the Minnesota Attorney General's office: James Canaday, Deputy Attorney General, Co-Lead Consumer Protection Section, Jessica Whitney, Deputy Attorney General, Co-Lead Consumer Protection Section, Sarah Doktori, Assistant Attorney General, and Noah Lewellen, Assistant Attorney General. The speakers detailed their enforcement priorities, including enforcing the Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act. In particular, they spoke about the importance of consumer complaints.
"It's fair to say that the AG's office is driven by consumer complaints," said Lewellen. "If we get a number of complaints about a data broker ... we're going to have a lot of attention on that data broker."
