proposed acquisition by Grupo Alacant, a leading European producer
specialising in private‑label retailer brands.
Based in Fermoy and employing over 100 people, Silver Pail will
represent a significant addition to Grupo Alacant's growing
portfolio. Backed by Investindustrial, the Spanish group is
expanding rapidly across Europe, and this acquisition will support
its international growth strategy in the UK and Irish markets. The
transaction is subject to regulatory clearance.
