Harness IP is excited to welcome Christopher Clayton as an Associate in our St. Louis Metro office, further strengthening our growing patent litigation practice. Chris is a registered patent attorney and a dedicated patent litigator who brings a unique combination of entrepreneurial and legal experience to his practice. He has successfully litigated over 100 patent cases in U.S. district courts, the International Trade Commission (ITC), and at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). He is also barred in Missouri, Illinois, U.S. District of Colorado, U.S. Eastern District of Michigan, U.S. Eastern District of Texas, U.S. Western District of Texas, and the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals.
Chris's practice is built on thorough preparation and a relentless focus on achieving favorable outcomes. His deep understanding of intellectual property law, particularly in patent litigation, allows him to tackle intricate legal disputes both in the courtroom and during prelitigation strategy. His path to patent litigation was shaped by his early passion for entrepreneurship. While in college, he co-founded a tech startup aimed at transforming real-time communication. This venture introduced him to the critical role of intellectual property in safeguarding innovation, igniting his interest in IP law.
Chris brings valuable experience in patent litigation matters involving semiconductor chips, standard essential wireless communication systems, telecommunication networks, mobile technology products, video streaming applications, database management and networking applications, and industrial manufactured products.
We are thrilled to have Chris join us and look forward to the continued growth and success of our patent litigation practice.
