The Gibraltar Funds & Investments Association (GFIA) held its Annual General Meeting on July 4, 2024, at Bank J Safra Sarasin.
Deputy Chairman Jay Gomez chaired the meeting, where subcommittee Heads presented reports on the past year’s achievements. Jonathan Garcia, Head of Technical, thanked his team for their support and outlined achievements for the past year and plans for the future. Joanne Rodriguez highlighted efforts to promote Gibraltar’s funds globally. Treasurer Faith Howe presented the audited financial statements.
Chairman James Lasry concluded with his report, emphasising the importance of collaboration within the industry and the support from the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission. He thanked the Executive Committee, Jay Gomez, and members for their continued support.
A new committee was announced, with congratulations extended to the newly elected members. ISOLAS LLP is delighted that its own Jonathan Garcia has been elected as Chair.
