Imagine you no longer have to work. How would you spend your weekdays?

'I would do all the things with my children that I do not regularly get to do because I'm working (school drop-offs, pickups, afterschool activities). I'd also have daily three-hour gym sessions while the kids are at school!'

What do you see as the most important thing about your job?

'The ability to look outside the box for solutions to my client's problems.'

What is the most significant trend in your practice today?

'Technology and digital assets impacting what fraud cases look like, how they are managed and how assets are recovered.'

What motivates you most about your work?

'Overcoming challenges; I'd get bored if it was too easy.'

What skill do you wish you would have learned earlier in your career?

'I cannot think of any skill that I would have wanted to learn earlier. Lessons relevant to my practice – maybe – but I think my skillset developed appropriately based on how my career has evolved.'

If you could make an office rule that everyone had to follow, what would it be?

'Don't steal the forks!'

If you could do someone else's job for a day, who would it be and what is the job?

'Philip Rosenthal from Somebody Feed Phil. In each episode, Phil travels to cities around the world with friends and family to taste the local cuisine and experience the culture at each stop on his journey.'

What song would you have as the theme tune for your life?

"'I Can See Clearly Now!, by Jimmy Cliff'

What cause are you most passionate about?

'Supporting law students and junior lawyers'

What is something people may not know about you?

'I'm addicted to French Fries.'

What does the perfect weekend look like?

'Sleeping in on a (rainy!) Saturday morning, waking up to freshly made pancakes and spending the rest of the day reading on the couch with a cup of tea. Church on Sunday morning followed by lunch on the waterfront with my family and an afternoon nap.'

Dead or alive, which three people would you most like to have a dinner party with, and why?

'Jesus – because I have a lot of questions

Barack Obama – because I think he's awesome

My husband, David Shibli Jr – because I'd want to share the experience with him.'
