NEW YORK, April 8, 2024 – Proskauer, a leading international law firm, announced today that it advised Apollo S3 as the lead investor in OceanSound Partners' recently closed $1.15 billion single-asset continuation fund. The transaction was completed in connection with the sale of OceanSound's portfolio company, SMX Group, LLC.
OceanSound and SMX's management rolled the majority of their equity proceeds and will continue to control and manage SMX. Apollo S3 and OceanSound will support SMX alongside new and current limited partners by providing incremental capital to support the execution of the company's acquisition strategy and future growth.
