The 2023 edition of The Legal 500 US has recognized fourteen of our litigation partners as leaders in various litigation and regulatory practice categories, including Antitrust Civil Litigation/Class Action: Defense; Corporate Investigations & White Collar Defense for both Advice to Individuals and Advice to Corporates; Financial Services Litigation; FinTech; General Commercial Disputes and Securities Litigation Defense.

Cahill's White Collar team continued to earn praise in the 2023 publication, described by clients as sporting "unassailable knowledge of the law." Co-Chair of the firm's Executive Committee and Chair of the Firm's Litigation Department Herbert Washer, partner David Januszewski, Co-Chairs of Cahill's White Collar and Government Investigations practice group Anirudh Bansal and Nola Heller, and Chair of Cahill's Cryptocurrency and Blockchain group Samson Enzer, were recognized as Recommended Lawyers for their ability to work "cohesively as a team" and "address and overcome difficult virtually impossible situations achieving favorable results and outcomes." The team's abilities is evident in their increased ranking to Tier 2 in the Advice to Individuals space and continued top ranking in the Advice to Corporates space.

Herb Washer, ranked in the Securities Litigation – Defense "Hall of Fame" category, was praised in the 2023 publication, along with partner David Januszewski, ranked as a "Leading Lawyer", and partners Jason Hall and Sheila Ramesh, ranked as "Next Generation Partners." The team was applauded for their "great attention to detail" and "ability to implement litigation strategy" in connection with a number of high-profile matters.

The 2023 publication of The Legal 500 praised the financial services litigation team, highlighting the landmark jury trial victory for Credit Suisse in the FX litigation. The team, led by Herb Washer and including partners David Januszewski, Tammy Roy, Jason Hall, Eddie Moss and Sheila Ramesh, was commended by clients as "extremely intelligent" and "extremely experienced" due to their reputation in the financial crisis-era losses litigation space.

Newly ranked this year was Cahill's Cryptocurrency & Blockchain practice, recognized as a "Firm to Watch" in the FinTech table in the 2023 guide, highlighting Cryptocurrency & Blockchain practice group Chair, Sam Enzer, for his efforts in contentious, regulatory and transactional matters in the FinTech and crypto space.

Cahill Antitrust partner Elai Katz was recognized as a Recommend Lawyer in the 2023 publication, lauded as "very experienced and knowledgeable" by clients.
