A few months after the beginning of its 50th year of activity Studio Legale Sutti (http://www.sutti.com), one of the largest independent firms in Italy, has announced the reorganisation of its tax practice into a fourth separate Corporate Tax Planning and Fiscal Law Dept., which adds on to its traditional three departments focusing respectively on Company-Commercial & Business Public Law; IP & Competition; and Employment.
As part of the occasion, a new office has been established at via Bigli 4 in Milan, one-hundred meters from the Firm's headquarters at the prestigious address of via Montenapoleone 8 in Milan, that will be dedicated to the firmwide coordination of the operations of the newly established Tax Dept., under the responsability of Dr. Giampaolo Corabi. Giampaolo Corabi joins Studio Legale Sutti with 12 additional tax attorneys - thus bringing the number of tax lawyers and attorneys with Studio Legale to 26 out of a total number of 135 fee-earners - coming from different experiences, both in other firms and in-house.
Dr. Corabi (http://www.sutti.com/corabi.htm), who was already active as a top-notch corporate tax planning specialist with Niwon's consultancy arm, is also a Tax Law scholar of international repute. Visiting Professor at Harvard Law School, the University of Buenos Aires and the University of Budapest, former editor-in-chief of Fiscalia, he published a number of leading articles and essays on the same topics and is the founder of CESTEC, the European Center for the Study of the Taxation of Electronic Commerce.
