The SR government regulation to amend the SR government regulation No. 300/ 1996 of Coll., on Customs tariffs.

Trade liberalization and support is declared in the New Custom Tariff from 1 January 1997.

With respect to the custom union between the Slovak and Czech Republics, an entrepreneurial entity in both Republics can import goods without the application of custom tariffs in the other country, according to the regulation. This amendment came into force on 15 November 1996.
