Resolution No. 280 of the NBU Board dated 15.06.2010, "On approval of amendments to the regulations governing the operations of Ukrainian banks" ("Resolution 280").

On 15.06.2010, Resolution 280 was adopted to amend the regulations governing the operations of Ukrainian banks, in particular with respect to the processing of information about bank transactions and the safekeeping thereof. Such processing must be carried out using servers and other computer equipment actually located in Ukraine. The regulations will become effective on 01.01.2011. Therefore, from 01.01.2011, banks are obliged to carry out such processing and safekeeping of information about bank transactions using servers located in Ukraine. Resolution 280 became effective on 17.07.2010
