According to news on the website of NDRC on 2 November 2015, NDRC initiated an investigation towards Health and Family Planning Commission ("HFPC") of Sichuan and Zhejiang upon third‐party report, as they were suspected to abuse administrative power in drug procurement and therefore violating the AML. NDRC found through investigation that, HFPC of Sichuan and Zhejiang provided local protection, which has impaired fair competition in relevant market during its organization of local drug procurement. After the investigation initiated, HFPC of Sichuan and Zhejiang attached great importance to relevant issues, and committed to take corrective measures.
